Your Mission :

  • Lead the product qualification phase in the sourcing process.
  • Discuss, clarify, and achieve the technical feasibility with the suppliers of the products concerned.
  • Actively support the “Detail Design Review” highlighting technical and process difficulties. Understand the cost drivers and propose alternative solutions.
  • Release the product control plan and define the control level internally and at the supplier’s site.
  • Define and release purchasing specification.
  • Perform supplier audits.
  • Deal with supplier norm requirements (RoHS, REACH, TSCA, etc.).
  • Assure production continuity daily for purchased components and supplier quality concerns.
  • Act proactively with the other departments, having a clear overview on the project’s milestones.
  • Support procurement, collaborate with Quality Control, provide solutions to rework parts, etc.
  • Establish collaboration with suppliers to guarantee a competitive and long-term relationship.
  • Write 8D reports for customers when supplier issues are concerned.

Your Profile :

  • Bachelor or master's degree in mechanical or industrial engineering.
  • At least three years’ experience in similar positions.
  • Knowledge of the main production technologies (ex. precision machinery, stamping, etc.) and metrology.
  • Fluent written and spoken English.
  • Excellent negotiation and interpersonal skills.
  • Good and reliable communicator both verbally and in writing.
  • Cross-functional / cultural team player.
  • Passion for driving continuous improvements
