The key responsibilities are the following:

  • Assist the Academic Managers with maintaining academic oversight of the delivery, assessment, and monitoring of the subjects, skills, structure, and content of all programmes.
  • Responsible for stakeholder engagement of training programmes
  • Manage the development and promotion of the training programmes
  • Support the head of the academic department, academic staff, and faculty regularly on relevant aspects of programme design, delivery, assessment and monitoring on all programme pathways.
  • Help with the selection of potential teachers, meetings with them, negotiation of the teaching conditions
  • Assist with drafting Academic calendar and schedule
  • Assisting faculty in the development and improvement of their courses
  • Coordination of student and faculty issues regularly
  • Coordinating exams, thesis supervision, student and faculty feedback process, and grades.
  • Assist with the update of student handbooks, programme handbooks, and other academic documents
  • Coordinate the creation and management of student information on the academic online portal
  • Assist with the coordination of the institution internal and external evaluation and accreditation process
  • Provide support during student induction and progression
  • Represent the institution at appropriate admissions, marketing and academic events

Description du profil :

Qualifications required:

  • Master degree in international relations, political science, international law, international trade and economy is necessary. A PhD will be preferred and a strong plus.
  • Teaching experience will be an advantage
  • Excellent communication skills in English. Knowledge of French or any other language is an asset
  • Ability to communicate with judgement and diplomacy with students and faculty from different cultures
  • Ability to be organized, punctual and, ability to initiate and follow-up would be preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task
  • Strong computer skills (including Microsoft Office Suite and database experience)
  • Experience with Moodle, Odoo, and other LMS systems would be preferred
  • Experience and familiarity with training programmes development
  • Ability to work independently and as a team member; cope with workload pressure and deadlines; and work in a results-based environment
  • Knowledge of university-level education system in Switzerland would be preferred
  • Attributes such as being responsible, committed and loyal to the cause of the institution is mandatory
  • An individual with a can-do attitude, positivity, and a bright smile will be given preference
