Description du poste :

The Accommodation & Conferences Specialist is in charge of drawing up concepts, developing and delivering
accommodation and meeting-related activities for events organised by UEFA, including competitions, conferences
and training courses. The role requires customer focus, service orientation and a solution-minded approach, as well
as the ability to optimise costs and control a budget.
Key Responsibilities
Pre-event:
- Listening to and anticipating clients' needs;
- Developing accommodation and meeting concepts (from 20 to 5,000 rooms);
- Negotiating contracts with hotels and other suppliers (up to 20 hotels per event for major tournaments).
Event implementation phase and on-site management:
- Ensuring the smooth and high-quality implementation of the accommodation concept;
- Coordinating all accommodation and meeting-related activities (rooming list, running orders, etc.);
- Making sure services are provided to the correct levels.
Post-event:
- Checking and managing final invoices and payments;
- Coordinating internal reinvoicing.

Description du profil :

Experience required:
- From 4 to 6 years' experience in hotel or event management
- From 1 to 3 years' experience of negotiating contracts, preferably in the event or travel industry
- From 1 to 3 years' experience of dealing with high-profile guests
Education:
- Bachelor's from a hotel school
- Other business school or equivalent qualification
Languages:
- English / Proficient
- French / Proficient
Additional requirements:
- Budget Management / Advanced
- MS Office / Advanced
- Project Management / Advanced
- Willingness to travel extensively (approximately 10-15% of working time)
- Good knowledge of the European hotel market
