**Finance**

* Ensure implementation of applicable accounting rules (US GAAP, \[Swiss GAAP\] in conjunction with Statutory & Tax Manager) and guarantee the integrity, comprehensiveness and accuracy of accounts
* Supervise the timely completion of the periodic and quarterly close process, ensuring complete and accurate financial statements and related key metrics such as same-store sales growth and unit count. Key deliverables include the periodic common reporting package, quarterly balance sheet reviews, MD&A packages, and management representation letters
* Identify and partner with Division Controller and company Control to resolve any new or significant accounting and reporting issues that arise each quarter
* Supervise accounting & consistency checks (bank reconciliations, account reconciliations, Entry testing-)
* Participate to the design of the internal control framework, in conjunction with Group reporting & audit
* Control spend & investment by project, type & department, and report to account holders
* Collaborate with the Statutory & Tax Manager to ensure tax & statutory reporting of the entities
* Forecast & manage cashflow, to ensure an appropriate level of funding & optimal allocation of reserves with Group treasury ; manage relationships with local banks
* Collaborate with Head of Planning to deliver actionable monthly/quarterly/annual management reporting



Admin & systems

* Design & implement administrative processes to support control framework, in partnership with relevant departments (approval matrix & workflow, PO tracking, expense policy, procurement policy)
* Implement & adapt systems to support & automate financial processes (expense reports, treasury management, management reporting, AP management, AR management)
* Serve on task forces as necessary (e.g. new system implementations)



Knowledge Management

* Provide expertise on ad hoc topics to Peers, Franchise Partners
* Act as a Topic Expert towards Finance team & RSC on finance, accounting, control topics



People Management

* 2 Direct reports + indirect reports across the region
