Our client, a leading Pharma company based between Yverdon and Neuchâtel, is looking for a highly skilled Accounting Manager to oversee all accounting operations, ensure full compliance with IFRS standards, and lead a small team of three accounting professionals. This role is ideal for an experienced finance leader who thrives in a dynamic industrial environment and is confident working with SAP.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage the full general accounting function for the Swiss entity.
  • Ensure accurate monthly, quarterly, and yearly closings in accordance with IFRS standards.
  • Supervise, coach, and develop a team of three accountants.
  • Oversee AP/AR, fixed assets, intercompany transactions, and tax-related matters.
  • Prepare financial statements, management reports, and support audits.
  • Act as the key contact for external auditors and internal stakeholders.
  • Drive continuous improvement of accounting processes and internal controls.
  • Ensure proper use and optimization of SAP within the finance department.

Profile :

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent qualification (Brevet Fédéral)
  • Proven experience in a similar role (5/7 years)
  • Strong technical knowledge of IFRS.
  • Hands-on experience with SAP FI/CO.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with experience managing small teams.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Fluent in English and French
