Application Software Specialist 100% (w/m/d)

For our client, a company in the Defense and Space Manufacturing industry based in Zurich, we are looking for an Application Software Specialist for a permanent role.

Place of work: Bubikon, Zurich (Max. 2 days HO)

Your Responsibilities

• Technical responsible and support for the implementation or updating of ERP software at our sites
• Maintenance, expansion, testing, support, and interface management of the applications (SolidWorks, EPLAN, Enterprise PDM, etc.)
• Analysis of requirements and optimization of operational processes
• Coordinate and evaluate of new tools, e.g., DMS
• User support and training
• Participate in development projects
• Documentation of systems and processes

Your Profile

• Education as an Application Developer EFZ with a focus on software development or a degree in IT
• Practical experience with ERP/PDM systems and understanding of cross-module integration
• Programming skills: strong experience with VBA, basic knowledge of SQL, C#, and Python
• Excellent German and English skills
• Systematic and analytical thinking, as well as strong process understanding
• Problem-solving skills and a high level of service orientation
• Willingness to travel approximately 25% (several weeks at a time)
