The Position
Le Rosey Camps is seeking qualified Arts Teachers for its summer camps for students aged 8–16 years, taking place in June, July, and August.

The Arts Teacher delivers engaging, hands-on instruction across a range of creative and artistic activities, fostering creativity, self-expression, and collaboration. The role includes planning and leading group projects and workshops designed to inspire students and develop their artistic skills.

This is a residential position, and teachers are expected to actively participate in boarding life. Further details can be found at www.roseysummercamps.ch/jobs/

Candidates must:

Have previous experience and/or training in the supervision of children and in summer camps
Have an excellent command of English
Be experienced and enthusiastic about teaching multiple creative activities, including but not limited to:
Ceramics, Cooking, Creative Arts, Digital Photography, Modern Dance, School of Magic, Singing, Street Dance, Theatre Art and Design, Web Design

Demonstrate the following qualities:

Energetic and enthusiastic
Flexible and resilient
Creative and motivating
Team player
Excellent rapport with students
Responsible and safety-minded

Qualifications

Degree, certification, or relevant training in Arts, Performing Arts, Creative Education, or related field
Experience teaching or leading children or teenagers in creative activities or arts workshops
Experience planning and supervising group projects and creative workshops
Knowledge of safety protocols for creative activities
Experience in international or multicultural environments is an advantage

Responsibilities

Plan and deliver safe, engaging, and age-appropriate lessons and workshops in arts and creative activities
Supervise group projects and encourage collaboration, experimentation, and self-expression
Maintain accurate records of student participation and progress
Encourage curiosity, creativity, and artistic development in a supportive learning environment
Participate in camp life and support students outside of formal lessons

The camps are held at our Rolle campus near Lake Geneva and in Gstaad in the Bernese Alps.

Staff are required to be present, depending on the camp, two to four days prior to the start of the program. During this period, staff receive information, training, and are integrated into the summer camp team.
