We are now seeking an

Assistant Registrar

The Assistant Registrar assists the Registrar in maintaining accurate and timely information on the student database and ensuring students receives official
academic documents according to institutional timeframe. He respond and provide accurate information when requested from internal / external stakeholders
whilst upholding the academic integrity and confidentiality regulations of GIHE.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Ensure verification, correct registration and enrolment of students into
their courses prior to each new term start
• Support end of term grade collection, recording and preparation of
exam boards;

YOUR PROFILE:
• High School Diploma and / or Commercial Business Diploma
• 1-2 years’ experience in an academic administrative environment
• Hospitality or Education working environment a plus
• Strong communication skills (written and oral)

• Communication to students on progression status and publication of
transcripts

• French and English fluent. Other languages is a plus
• Good IT skills - Microsoft Applications, Sharepoint, CRM, etc

• Maintain academic records and transcripts of past and present

• Ability to efficiently organise time and priorities

students; prepare final documents (transcripts, degrees)
• Reliability and attention to details
• Assist students with requests for official documents and legalisation;
change of status and interruptions/withdrawals

• Swiss/EU passport holder or valid Swiss working permit

• Prepare statistics and reports for various internal stakeholders
(committees, boards, etc.) and external stakeholders (accreditation
bodies, public authorities, etc.) as and when required
• Support with the organization of the graduation
• Other admin tasks and close collaboration with other departments
(student accounting, admissions, academic office, Visa officer, etc.)
