Associate Specialist - Data & Analytics
Location: Geneva, Switzerland
Contract: start asap, 7 month duration
The Opportunity
We are looking for a motivated Data Scientist to join a centralised Data and Analytics Solutions Hub within a busy Grant Management Division. You will work closely with a senior team member, providing hands-on analytical support - from data extraction and preparation through to the delivery of advanced analytics and AI solutions that inform decision-making at the highest levels.
Key Responsibilities
Extracting, cleaning, manipulating, and analysing large datasets
Developing and maintaining BI tools and dashboards using Tableau and Microsoft Azure
Delivering analytics and AI solutions to enhance grant and programme performance
Supporting KPI reporting, results monitoring, and strategic analyses
Contributing to data quality, documentation, and governance initiatives
Your Profile
Proven experience in data extraction, manipulation, preparation, and analysis
Proficiency in R and/or Python; solid SQL skills and data warehouse experience
Hands-on experience with Tableau and Microsoft Azure
Advanced knowledge of AI tools and practical experience in AI-driven or digital transformation projects
Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex findings clearly
Degree in Statistics, Sciences, Engineering, IT, Public Health, or related field
Fluency in English required; French or Spanish an asset
