Lead High-Impact Audits for Globally Active Clients – Specializing in US GAAP
A prestigious international advisory firm is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Audit Manager / Senior Manager (m/w/d) to join their Non-Financial Services Assurance Practice in Zug. Starting Spring 2025, you’ll take on a leadership role in delivering audit and assurance services to well-known global clients, with a strong focus on US GAAP, SEC reporting, and IFRS. This position offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge audit technology and to drive excellence in corporate governance and transparency.
Your Responsibilities
- Lead and manage audit engagements for clients in the Trade, Industries & Services sector, including multinational corporations and fast-growing private companies
- Oversee integrated audits for SEC-registered companies reporting under US GAAP, including SOX testing and compliance with PCAOB standards
- Manage statutory audits under Swiss law and IFRS-based audits for international private firms
- Supervise ESG and non-financial reporting audits.Prepare high-quality audit documentation for Partner review and participate in presenting audit findings to client management and Boards of Directors
- Act as a key point of contact for clients on technical accounting questions, and support them in navigating complex regulatory environments
- Build and grow long-term relationships with clients while coordinating cross-border audit teams across the firm’s international network
Your Profile
- Over 5 years of experience in a similar role within a Big 4 or top-tier audit environment
- Strong technical command of US GAAP, US GAAS, IFRS, SOX, and PCAOB standards
- Successfully completed US CPA or an equivalent international qualification
- Demonstrated ability to manage large, multi-location audit engagements effectively. Proven ability to lead teams, coach junior staff, and collaborate effectively within international networks
- Confident working with senior stakeholders at local, regional, and corporate levels
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with fluency in English (German is a plus)
