Location: Canton of Jura, Switzerland | Start: As soon as possible | Industry: Heat Treatment Systems | Contract: Permanent

A well-established Swiss SME specialized in the development and construction of industrial heat treatment systems is seeking a talented Automation Engineer to strengthen its growing team. The company is internationally active, exporting high-quality, Swiss-engineered solutions worldwide.

Your Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the technical management team during the machine design process
  • Prepare project cost estimates
  • Develop automation programs and corresponding documentation
  • Support commissioning activities in close collaboration with other departments
  • Install and restart systems on customer sites, including user training
  • Provide after-sales technical support (remote or on-site)
  • Stay current with the latest technologies and automation trends

Your Profile

  • Proven experience with Siemens TIA Portal and WinCC
  • Solid background in industrial automation and electrical engineering
  • Hands-on, autonomous, and team-oriented approach
  • Strong industrial understanding and customer focus
  • Willingness to travel internationally
  • Languages: Fluent English and French required; German preferred (Italian or Spanish a plus)
