Your Role
Bank J. Safra Sarasin is looking for an experienced, sharp and curious Business Analyst to join its Process Excellence department. As a successful candidate, you will be at the center of designing better ways of working and driving enterprise-wide transformation.
Your Responsibilities
- Map, analyze, and document end-to-end banking processes to identify inefficiencies, risks, and improvement opportunities
- Gather and translate business requirements from stakeholders across all units taking part in the process
- Drive process improvement initiatives in close collaboration with business owners
- Build business cases, cost-benefit analyses, and ROI models to support change initiatives
- Facilitate workshops and working groups with cross-functional teams
- Develop process documentation, SOPs, and training materials
- Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and improvement outcomes
- Support the rollout of new systems, tools, or regulatory changes by bridging business and technology teams
Your Profile
- Higher education such as FH/University degree in Engineering, Business, Finance, or an equivalent qualification
- 3-6 years of Business Analyst experience, ideally within banking, financial services, or a consulting environment
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to dissect complex banking processes and work thoroughly, flexibly, and independently
- Good communicator and team player with an active attitude, taking full ownership of tasks and delivering measurable process improvements
- Solution-oriented with a pragmatic approach and readiness to closely work with colleagues and stakeholders across operations, compliance, and technology
- Ability to work under pressure, to prioritize competing demands, and to take clear decisions in a fast-paced banking environment
- Fluency in English and either French or German; Fluency in other languages is an advantage
