About Our Client

Our client is a leading company in its industry and is based in Geneva.

Job Description

Your main responsibilities as business controller will be the following :

  • Participate to the budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning processes
  • Analyze financial results, variances, and key performance indicators to provide actionable insights
  • Prepare monthly management reports, dashboards, and financial presentations for senior leadership
  • Collaborate closely with operational, commercial, and corporate teams to support strategic and operational decisions
  • Challenge assumptions and ensure financial rigor across all business initiatives
  • Support month-end closing activities in coordination with accounting teams
  • Contribute to audit processes and internal control assessments
  • Drive continuous improvement of financial and reporting processes
  • Ensure high-quality data, efficient workflows, and reliable reporting tools
  • Lead or participate in projects related to automation and digitalization (e.g., Power Automate, Power Apps, workflow optimization)
  • Promote standardization and simplification of controlling practices across the organization

The Successful Applicant

The business controller we are looking for should bring the following background and experience:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in finance, preferably in audit, controlling, or FP&A
  • Proven experience in managing financial processes, reporting, and performance analysis
  • Solid analytical and data-driven mindset, with the ability to structure models and interpret financial trends
  • Automation and digital competencies appreciated
  • Comfortable working with large datasets and process optimization
  • Agile, committed, and autonomous with a strong continuous improvement mindset
  • Strong sense of ownership and reliability in delivering high-quality outputs
  • Capacity to challenge constructively and act as a trusted business partner
  • Excellent communication skills, able to translate financial insights into actionable recommendations
  • Fluency in English and French
