Business Development Officer (6-month contract)You will act as a key interface between business teams, technical functions and governance bodies, driving the development of new commercial offerings from pilot to launch. A critical aspect of the role is the ability to work closely with boards and committees, helping them structure, challenge and refine value propositions, while ensuring effective execution of selected initiatives.Our client is a well-established Not For Profit on an international scale. This position is open as part of a temporary replacement.You will join a team and work in a highly dynamic environment, interacting with stakeholders across multiple countries, industries and governance levels. This role has strong exposure to senior decision-making bodies (board & committees) and is at the heart of the efforts to develop new revenue streams, particularly through digital products, and emerging technologies (including AI).Description1. Product & revenue development- Contribute to the design and development of new products and services, with a focus on digital and innovative solutions- Shape and articulate clear, compelling value propositions aligned with market needs- Identify opportunities driven by digital and AI2. End-to-end project management- Lead from concept to structuring to pilot (test phase) to launch and manage project plans, timelines and cross-functional teams, especially IT and technical stakeholders- Track progress, assess feasibility and ensure outcomes3. Market insight & strategy- Conduct market and customer analysis (industrial players, standards users, ecosystem stakeholders)- Identify market opportunities, trends and competitive product concepts through pilot testing and feedback loops4. Board & stakeholder engagement (critical)- Act as a trusted partner to boards and governance bodies involved in product and revenue initiatives- Facilitate meetings, challenging assumptions and refining alignment across complex, multi-stakeholder decision-making processes and ensure momentum5. Commercial support- Contribute to the definition of pricing, positioning and go-to-market strategies, taking into account long and complex sales cycles, especially within industrial and technical environments- Support the transition from pilot to market-ready offeringProfileExperience- Proven track record in:- Business development / revenue or product/service project management- Exposure to international and matrix environments (highly important)- Experience with complex stakeholder ecosystems and governance structures- Familiarity with industrial or technical environments (e.g., companies working with standards, manufacturing, engineering) is a strong plus- Experience with long sales cycles and market insight-driven approaches- Strong ability to work in ambiguous and complex environments- Build and challenge value propositions- Manage senior stakeholders, including board-level interactionsSolid understanding of:- Digital and emerging technologies (AI)- Market analysis and customer insight- Excellent project management and execution capabilities- High level of autonomy, structure and impact- English fluent, other languages a plusJob Offer- Ability to influence and work effectively with boards and governance bodies- Capacity to bridge product strategy and execution- Strong ownership mindset with focus on delivering tangible outcomes within a limited timeframe- Comfort in a fast-moving, and highly dynamic environment jid6e3cbceaen jit0626aen jpiy26aen
