INTRODUCTION
For one of our clients, active in the real estate sector and based in Geneva, we are offering a position as
Business Development Manager - Real Estate (M/F)
Permanent position
100% workload
DESCRIPTION DE LA MISSION
- Proactively scout for promising real estate prospects, with a focus on underperforming or special-situation commercial properties across Switzerland and Germany.
- Develop and nurture a strong ecosystem of industry contacts-such as brokers, agencies, and regional stakeholders-to secure early access to non-public investment opportunities.
- Track market developments related to distressed properties and businesses approaching insolvency to identify actionable acquisition leads.
- Manage the full origination cycle, including field assessments and preliminary due diligence, before transitioning the case to the transactions team.
- Produce structured, detailed reports covering opportunity assessments, site reviews, and negotiation status to support internal decision-making.
- Represent the company's investment platform with professionalism and energy in the assigned markets, strengthening its visibility and reputation.
PROFIL ATTENDU
- Demonstrated experience in a client-facing or commercial role, ideally with exposure to real estate or strategic business development.
- Entrepreneurial spirit with a proactive, opportunity-seeking mindset and the autonomy to manage deal sourcing and relationship building.
- Professional fluency in German and English (spoken and written) is essential; knowledge of French is considered an advantage.
- Open to regular and flexible travel, including extended stays in Switzerland and Germany, as needed by the business.
- This is not a purely analytical position-the role suits someone with commercial intuition, strong field presence, and a structured but pragmatic approach.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; composed, trustworthy, efficient, and comfortable working in a small, collaborative team environment (approx. 5-6 people).
- You will benefit from internal support on technical evaluations and property-specific expertise to complement your business development efforts.
