Client:
Leading, well-established, global Swiss bank with busy Geneva headquarters, offering a bespoke and entrepreneurial approach to its clients and employees alike.  A chance to be part of a human-sized organisation, in a broad role, with good visability and responsibility.

Position:
This is a very interesting new position that will be in essence supervising Front Office administrative activities for the Geneva headquarters as well as for the Swiss branch offices of the bank, reporting directly to the Head of Wealth Management.

Responsibilities will include, but not limited to:
  • Reviewing, improving maintaining, and documenting internal procedures and processes
  • Training all employees on administrative policies and procedures
  • Liaising with Relationships Managers and Operational Services: Compliance, Central File, Trading, Back-Office, Tax Officer, Risk Officer, Security Officer, Finance and IT Team
  • Supporting Relationship Managers and Assistants in solving operational issues
  • Daily monitoring of Client accounts and transactions
  • Monitoring of cross-border & AML trainings
  • Managing operational issues and Client complaints
  • Managing relationships with Business Introducers
  • Monitoring tariffs granted to Clients


Profile:
  • Master’s degree in Finance or equivalent
  • Proven seasoned operational experience in a similar position with a leading financial institution, such as deputy head of operations, head of business support or senior business manager - from Swiss private banking
  • Minimum 8+ years' relevant Swiss private banking experience - the Swiss part a must
  • In-depth expertise of banking regulations and best practices
  • A young, dynamic but humble approach
  • Excellent knowledge of Private Banking industry
  • Very good knowledge of Excel, SQL a plus
  • Good knowledge of at least one Portfolio Management System (PMS) an advantage
  • Ability to work collaboratively and across business lines
  • Soft skills : self-directed, driven and ability to create a positive business culture
  • Excellent presentation and very hands-on + top-notch communication skills
  • Ability to travel
  • Mother-tongue/fluent French as well as fluent English; German would be an asset
  • Swiss residence compulsory
