Current Opportunity
We are currently looking for a Chief Operating Officer (COO) – Consumer Health & Biotech on behalf of one of our client in Basel.
- Lead and scale operations across product development, supply chain, and commercialization
- Drive product development from concept to market (consumer health, nutraceuticals, probiotics, enzyme supplements)
- Own and coordinate regulatory strategy (EFSA, FDA, Novel Food, GRAS, NDIN)
- Support and execute business development initiatives and strategic partnerships
- Contribute to fundraising activities and investor communication
- Manage cross-functional projects and external partners
- Establish scalable processes while maintaining a hands-on, entrepreneurial mindset
- Background in consumer healthcare, nutraceuticals, or non-prescription health products
- Proven experience in business development and product development
- Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks (EFSA / FDA, Novel Food, GRAS, NDIN)
- Experience in biotech or ingredient-based companies, ideally in scaling phases
- Entrepreneurial, independent, execution-driven personality
- Strong communication skills across scientific, commercial, and investor audiences
