Description

Are you passionate about delivering exceptional client service in the financial sector? As a Client Services Specialist, you'll be the primary point of contact for EMEA-based clients, handling settlement-related queries across products, markets, entities, and trade statuses. You’ll play a key role in ensuring smooth operations and building strong relationships between clients and internal teams.

Responsibilities

  • Be the go-to contact for clients on all operational issues related to trade settlement in European markets.
  • Resolve and escalate matched and unmatched trades efficiently.
  • Respond promptly to client inquiries and provide clear, professional communication.
  • Manage client fails reporting and associated risk (e.g., buy-in notifications, settlement fines).
  • Collaborate with internal departments to resolve issues and ensure client satisfaction.
  • Lead team activities including workflow allocation and 1:1 meetings.
  • Investigate and resolve trade breaks.
  • Contribute to ad hoc projects and industry initiatives.

Profile

  • Confidence and professionalism in client-facing interactions.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to present clearly to various audiences.
  • A proactive mindset with the ability to work independently and manage your time effectively.
  • Experience in client service, particularly in DMA and OTC settlement.
  • Solid understanding of operational risk, client money protection, and funding.
  • A collaborative spirit and openness to diverse perspectives.
  • A drive to innovate and challenge the status quo.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and adapting to evolving client needs.
