Job Description

Reporting directly to the Communications Director and working closely with key stakeholders and top management, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing the social media and PR strategy across multiple channels:

• Develop and implement a content strategy focused on scientific vulgarization and storytelling for social media (LinkedIn, Instagram, Bluesky/X).
• Elevate the digital presence and support strategic storytelling to engage a broader audience.
• Manage and grow the organizational social media accounts, ensuring tone and content.
• Create and publish engaging visual and written content (photo, video, carousels, infographics).
• Act as a community manager, ensuring timely and thoughtful engagement with audiences.
• Collaborate with a small, agile communications team to deliver high-quality, reactive content.
• Provide strategic input and take initiative in proposing new formats and campaigns.
• Travel occasionally to cover major international events and conferences 10%.

The Successful Applicant

• Minimum 5 years of experience in communications, journalism, or social media management.
• Proven ability to translate complex topics into accessible, engaging content.
• Strong copywriting and storytelling skills in English (C2 level or native).
• Experience in environmental, conservation, or sustainability sectors is a strong asset.
• Comfortable with simple visual content creation using in-app tools (photo, video, canvas).
• Demonstrated ability to extract and visualize key statistics for social media.
• Hands-on, proactive, and comfortable working in a small, fast-paced team.
• High emotional intelligence, resilient under pressure, and able to manage topics with discretion and professionalism.
