DAILY BUSINESS- Develop and maintain demand forecasts for products across international markets based on historical data, market trends, and input from sales and marketing teams.
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, and production teams to gather relevant information and insights to improve forecast accuracy.
- Monitor inventory levels and identify potential stockouts or excess inventory situations, taking proactive measures to mitigate risks.
- Analyze demand patterns and identify opportunities for process improvements to optimize inventory management and minimize supply chain disruptions.
- Communicate demand forecasts and inventory recommendations to procurement and production teams to support efficient supply chain operations.
- Provide regular reports and analysis on demand planning metrics, such as forecast accuracy, inventory turns, and stock availability.
- Participate in S&OP (Sales and Operations Planning) meetings to align demand forecasts with production and procurement plans.
- Utilize demand planning software and tools to enhance forecasting accuracy and efficiency.
YOUR PROFILE
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Statistics, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
- Proven experience in demand planning, forecasting, or supply chain management, preferably in an international company.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and draw meaningful insights.
- Proficiency in demand planning software and ERP systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
