Description
- Analyze product cost structure and identify cost drivers
- Break down product costs (materials, components, labor, processes)
- Identify key cost drivers across movement manufacturing and watch assembly
- Analyze cost variations and benchmark similar products or components
- Support Design to Cost initiatives across development
- Contribute to Design to Cost projects across movement and watch development
- Challenge design and industrial assumptions to identify cost optimization levers
- Support trade-off analysis between cost, quality, and performance
- Define and implement cost standards and best practices
- Define costing methodologies and standards for components, processes, and products
- Contribute to building cost libraries / reference models (e.g., components, operations)
- Standardize assumptions used in cost calculations (labor time, process costs, etc.)
- Ensure consistent cost approaches across teams (R&D, Industrialization, Finance)
- Document and formalize Design to Cost guidelines and best practices
- Develop cost analysis and reporting tools
- Build and maintain cost models and analysis tools (Excel or similar)
- Develop dashboards to monitor cost performance and track savings initiatives
- Ensure data consistency and reliability across systems
-Contribute to continuous improvement and cost culture - Support the deployment of Design to Cost best practices
- Contribute to building a cost-awareness culture across teams
- Document methodologies and recommendations for future projects

You will fit perfectly into our squad if:
- You have previous academic or internship experience in industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, manufacturing, or cost analysis is a strong advantage. Experience working with data (Excel modeling, analysis, dashboards) in an industrial context is appreciated.
- You hold or are currently completing a Master’s degree from a top tier engineering school in with a specialization in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
- You have strong skills in Excel, Data Analysis
- You have good understanding of product cost structure and basic financial principles, and Knowledge of manufacturing / production processes
- You are fluent in English and French.
