You will lead a multidisciplinary team of more than 40 engineers and specialists and play a key role in defining the future of BOBST s digital portfolio.MissionAs a member of the IoT Leadership Team, you will drive the technology architecture and delivery of the BOBST Connect platform while partnering closely with the Iot Product Director to bring solutions to market. You will lead teams in Switzerland and Morocco and report directly to the Chief Technology Officer (CTO).Key responsibilitiesLead and inspire- Lead, develop and grow multidisciplinary IoT, Data Science and software teams (+40 people).- Foster a culture of agility, innovation and continuous learning.- Mentor leaders and technical experts, ensuring the organization is equipped to deliver on its technology excellence.Own the technology roadmap and execution- Own the execution of the BOBST Connect platform together with the Iot Product Director.- Define architecture, technology stack, cybersecurity and cloud strategy to ensure scalability, reliability and performance.- Promote modern engineering practices including Agile, DevSecOps, CI/CD and AI-enabled development.Drive business impact- Partner with Product Lines, Business Units and commercial teams to translate customer business needs into digital solutions and services.- Present strategy and progress to senior leadership and executive boards.You BringExperience- Master s degree or PhD in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering or a related field.- More than 10 years of experience in software and digital product development.- At least 5 years leading large, distributed software development teams, including nearshore or offshore teams.Technical expertise- You bring a strong background in several of the following areas:- SaaS and cloud software architectures (Azure preferred).- IoT and edge computing.- Data and science.- Agile delivery frameworks.- DevSecOps, CI/CD and software engineering best practices.Leadership & mindset- Inspiring leader with a proven ability to build high-performing teams.- Strong business acumen and customer-centric thinker capable of influencing senior stakeholders.- Passion for technology and delivering measurable value.- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a multicultural, global environment.Languages- Fluent English is mandatory and French is a strong asset.Join us – and grow with usBOBST is an engineering company, pioneering intelligent solutions that shape the future of the packaging world.
