To support our organisation we are looking for our offices in Yverdon-les-Bains for an:
Electronic Quality Assurance Engineer
Purpose:
Ensure the quality and compliance of electronic system development activities by supporting the definition, implementation, and continuous improvement of development and validation processes.
Play a key role in enabling robust, safe, and secure electronic systems by supporting engineering teams in meeting internal standards and external regulations across hardware, software, and system development.
This role offers the opportunity to work at the interface of hardware, software, and system engineering, contributing directly to product quality, reliability, and continuous improvement.
Role & Responsibilities:
Electronic System Quality Assurance & Validation
Support quality assurance activities across software, hardware, and system levels, including development workflows, traceability, integration consistency, and technical validation approaches.
Execute validation activities to ensure robust and reliable system performance according to applicable safety and quality standards.
Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and cybersecurity requirements.
Development Process Support
Contribute to the definition, maintenance, and improvement of electronic development processes and documentation.
Support alignment of development processes with quality, safety, and cybersecurity requirements.
Monitor the development lifecycle and proactively identify non-conformities and improvement opportunities.
Contribute to project milestone reviews and deliverable quality checks.
Collaboration & Continuous Improvement
Support cross-functional quality, safety, and cybersecurity activities.
Collaborate with hardware, software, and system engineering teams.
Participate in knowledge sharing, training, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Contribute to best practices and lessons learned.
Other Activities
Responsible for performing other duties as assigned to meet the ongoing needs of the organization.
Skills & Experience:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics Engineering, Quality Engineering, or a related technical field
3–5 years of experience in electronic system development, quality assurance, or validation activities
Initial experience in quality processes within industrial or safety-related environments is a plus
Exposure to audits, non-conformity management, or compliance activities is beneficial
Experience working in cross-functional engineering teams
Understanding of electronic product development lifecycle and quality assurance methods
Experience in validation and verification processes for Hardware and Software systems
Knowledge of relevant standards such as EN 5012x or ISO 26262 (Functional Safety), ASPICE, ISO 9001, and ISO/SAE 21434 (Cybersecurity)
Key Competencies:
Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset with focus on risk identification and process improvement
Solid understanding of quality systems, functional safety, and cybersecurity standards
Proven ability to lead cross-functional quality activities and promote a culture of compliance and excellence
Effective communicator, able to influence and align diverse engineering teams
Structured, autonomous, and result-oriented with high attention to detail
Committed to continuous improvement and knowledge sharing across projects
Languages:
French and English very good spoken and written.
Other European language would be a plus.
Other:
Availability for occasional business travel (up to 10%).
