Description
As an Energy Specialist Technician, you ensure the availability, performance and safety of the technical installations of the site buildings. You work both in preventive and corrective maintenance, and play a key role in energy monitoring as well as in the continuous improvement of infrastructures.
Your main responsibilities
Maintenance & Operation of installations
- Ensure preventive and corrective maintenance of the site's technical installations.
- Check the proper functioning of equipment:
- Electrical installations and networks, including medium voltage (MV) operations
- LAN network and videoconferencing systems
- Heating, ventilation, air conditioning and sanitary installations
- Building automation
- Fire detection and protection
- Security installations (access control, video surveillance)
- Automatic doors, turnstiles, gates, blinds
- Overhead cranes
- Professional kitchen equipment
- Diagnose faults and implement necessary corrective measures.
- Monitor and control interventions carried out by external service providers.
Energy monitoring
- Manage the Sauter EMS platform.
- Record and analyse electricity, gas and water consumption.
- Optimise the settings of installations from an energy performance perspective.
On-call service
- Ensure urgent interventions 24/7.
- Diagnose remotely via remote management tools.
- Guarantee rapid and appropriate decision-making in critical situations.
Documentation & continuous improvement
- Keep the technical documentation of installations up to date.
- Propose and implement continuous improvement measures.
- Optimise maintenance costs and infrastructure longevity.
- Manage consumables and technical premises.
Your profile
Education
- Federal VET Diploma (CFC) in a technical building trade (required).
- Training as an electrician, ES technician (heating/cooling/ventilation), or HES engineer in building technology (desired).
Experience
- Proven experience in maintenance of building technical installations.
- Skills in troubleshooting in the HVACSER fields (HVAC, sanitary, electricity, automation).
- Good understanding of interactions between technical systems for reliable diagnosis.
Technical skills
- Reading electrical diagrams and principles of heating/cooling/ventilation/sanitary systems.
- Knowledge of cantonal requirements in energy and fire safety.
- Proficiency in:
- MS Office
- Sauter SVC (user)
- Sauter EMS (user & programmer)
- CMMS
Languages
- French: fluent (required)
- German & English: a plus
Other skills
- Platform lift licence (required)
- Forklift licence (desired)
- Work at height with PPE
- Autonomy, pragmatism and strong sense of responsibility
