This role is part of an exciting large-scale project aimed at improving and expanding laboratory systems to integrate new laboratories and analytical methods.

You will work in a dynamic and cross-functional environment, combining science, technology, and regulatory compliance.

Main responsibilities:

  • Manage and enhance laboratory systems (e.g., LabVantage LIMS, Omics LIMS, SDMS) in collaboration with IT, QA, and laboratory teams.
  • Gather, analyze, and document user requirements, ensuring the integration of approximately 450 analytical methods into the system.
  • Write functional specifications, validation protocols, and test reports in line with GLP (Good Laboratory Practice) and PMI procedures.
  • Act as validation engineer, ensuring system changes comply with GAMP 5 and 21 CFR Part 11 standards.
  • Provide user support and training, develop user guides, and conduct onboarding or refresher sessions for laboratory staff.
  • Act as business system administrator when required, ensuring data consistency and compliance.

    Profile required:

  • Master’s degree (preferred) or Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Computer Science, or Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • 3–5 years of experience in laboratory systems operations (e.g., LIMS, ELN, SDMS, CDS).
  • Proven experience in computerized systems validation and working in a regulated (GLP) environment.
  • Strong IT affinity and ideally prior experience with LabVantage LIMS.
  • Basic programming knowledge (e.g., Groovy) or strong interest in automation and AI tools is an asset.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills — you will collaborate closely with IT, QA, and various laboratory stakeholders.
  • Proactive, curious, and organized, with a strong sense of responsibility and respect for deadlines.
  • Fluent in English, written and spoken.

We offer:

  • A long-term temporary assignment within an international scientific environment.
  • The opportunity to play a key role in a strategic laboratory systems improvement project.
