Description

We are looking for an Engineering Manager with a fervent desire to learn and innovate. You challenge the status quo, and you are resolved to help Nexthink stay on the leading edge of the digital employee experience.
As an Engineering Manager, you play a key role in guiding one of the engineering teams that are at the heart of Nexthink’s solution. To be successful in this role, you need a deep mix of management and technical skills, and the ability to work in a dynamic environment, going from high-level strategy roadmap and architecture to implementation details. We are looking for an outcome (as opposed to output) oriented professional.

  • Build a high-performing engineering team by attracting and retaining the highest quality talent, onboarding, coaching, performance improvement, and career progression of the engineers.
  • Drive and direct the engineering processes, architecture, and technical roadmap within the team in alignment with the Engineering management team.
  • Oversee the technical debt, security, quality, and technical decisions with proficiency and in a structured manner.
  • Evangelize, drive, and continuously improve our agile methodologies for software development to continue building our product iteratively and in a lean way.
  • Instill Nexthink values as a building foundation for your team
  • Work with the Product Management and UX teams to help write user stories, build an effective product roadmap with your technical inputs, and ensure smooth and close collaboration with the engineers from discovery to delivery.
  • Ensure coordination and full alignment between different agile teams across multiple locations as well as cross-department collaboration such as Marketing, sales, HR, or customer success.
  • Ability to contribute technically within the team as required by bringing your experience in architectural decisions, code reviews, prototypes, and codebase.
  • Own problems from end-to-end, manage complexity, and interact directly with stakeholders to understand and minimize any impact to the business.
  • Foster a culture of integrity, mutual respect, and collaborative decision-making.
