Enterprise Data Engineer

Your tasks

• Data Integration : Integrate data from multiple sources, ensuring consistency, quality, and accuracy during the extraction, transformation, and loading phases.
• ETL Process Development : Design, develop, and implement ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to efficiently move data from source systems to data warehouses or other target systems.
• Performance Optimization : Optimize ETL processes for performance, scalability, and efficiency, identifying and addressing bottlenecks to improve data processing speed and reliability.
• Data Quality and Integrity : Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of data throughout the ETL process, implementing validation and error-checking mechanisms.
• Documentation and Maintenance : Document ETL processes, maintain ETL scripts, and update processes as necessary to adapt to changing data sources and requirements.

Your profile

• 5+ years of proven data engineering delivery experience.
• Master-s degree or equivalent in IT, computing, data science, mathematics, statistics, or other numerate discipline.
• Experienced in processing data with Spark/Databricks, working in cloud environments (Azure, GCP), and building data pipelines/ETL/ELT solutions using Python, SQL, and PySpark; passionate about learning new technologies and staying updated on modern data engineering trends.
• Strong leadership in delivering consistent results, creating collaborative relationships, and motivating teams; skilled in solution design, stakeholder management, user-centric approaches, and digital agility.
• Proficient in microsoft Azure cloud technologies (Blob storage, ADLS, Azure DevOps, Logic Apps, Functions), databricks (Unity, PySpark), event-driven integration services (Kafka), graph databases (Neo4J), and data visualization tools (PowerBI, Tableau, Thoughtspot, D3.js).
• Innovative mindset, and comfortable to take ownership of key areas of cross- platform projects.
• Fluent in English (oral and written), French/German/Italian is a plus.
