Our client is an international organization located in Geneva.

Job Description

This Finance Assistant position is primarily focusing on supporting the continuing smooth operations of the department by providing cover for certain duties.

It will consist in :

• Financial duties in accordance with the needs of the department (processing refunds, credit card transactions, handling outstanding amounts due, applying incoming payments to invoices, processing consultants payments)

• Follow up on unapplied payments and liaison with other departments as required

• Handle replies to customers and other departments

• Assist as required in financial reconciliation of accounts, gathering of statistics and financial analysis of customers and customer accounts

• Other tasks as may be required

The Successful Applicant

The Finance Assistant should bring the following background and experience:

• Education: first level degree, Business, Economics, Finance or Accounting, or equivalent work experience in a financial accounts team
• 3 to 6 years of professional experience
• Good communication skills, the capacity to work in a team environment and to adapt quickly to tasks which may vary, in accordance with the needs of the department
• Proficiency in modern professional computer applications, in particular Microsoft Excel, CRM and Teams
• Experience with ERP based systems in the area of Billing, GL, Accounts Receivable and/or Accounts Payable
• Excellent knowledge of English, a good knowledge of French would be an advantage
