Join this interesting and diverse role at the heart of the Finance Group Platforms organization. You will lead a team of financial controllers who act as business partners for Group Platforms domains, being responsible for various aspects of the financial controlling and planning.


BACKGROUND


Technology and Data have become some of the key drivers in value creation for our customers, thus driving growth and cost optimization for our Maisons. Group Platforms unifies all technology capabilities of Richemont under one umbrella and creates an operating model which drives innovation and values delivery in an efficient and effective way.


The Finance Controlling Manager Group Platforms is an essential part of our long-term strategy through providing excellence in financial planning, providing strategic insights and financial leadership to Group Product and Technology roadmaps.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Reporting to the Finance Director Group Platforms, you will be based in the Meyrin campus together with the Group Platforms team. You will partner daily with Group Technology, Product and Data office.


This role will be responsible for the following activities, including but not limited to:

  • Lead a team of experienced financial controllers, who provide financial partnership and support for Group Platforms Domains
  • Drive timely, accurate and transparent key financial processes (i.e. budgeting, forecasting, reporting, internal allocation, financial performance KPIs dashboard)
  • Provide financial insights, analysis and proposals that drive sound decision-making and steering in line with long term Group Platforms Strategy
  • Develop and maintain financial framework, data management and tooling that support aligned and efficient ways of working across Group Platforms
  • In cooperation with Product organization and Project Management Office, support efficient resources allocation for portfolio of strategic projects and initiatives
  • Liaise with Central accounting team to ensure that financial reporting is providing accurate data and create feedback loop for improving accuracy and reliability
  • Liaise with other Group Functions i.e. FP&A, Tax, Procurement, Legal, Treasury, Internal audit to secure compliant ways of working within risk frames

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE


  • 10+ years of proven experience in financial controlling, budgeting, financial planning and financial analysis within complex global organization is a must
  • Of which 5+ years of proven experience in team management
  • Master-s degree or equivalent in Finance
  • Proven track record of delivering results through influential leadership and strong multi-stakeholder management skillset
  • Experience in Technology company, IT/Digital departments, Shared Service centre, Transforming organizations and/or strong affinity to new technologies and practical application for business is required
  • Experience with modern IT Financial management methodologies and tools is a plus
  • Excellent SAP Finance, MS Office and business intelligence reporting (i.e. Power BI, SAP Analytics Cloud and/or Looker)
  • Experience with one programming language is a plus
