About Our Client

Our client is a dynamic and fast-paced commodity trading firm headquartered in Geneva, operating globally across energy.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS

  • Manage general ledger entries, reconciliations, and journal postings

  • Support the month-end and year-end closing processes

  • Liaise with external auditors and ensure timely completion of audits

  • Assist in tax filings and regulatory reporting

  • Collaborate with internal teams to improve financial processes and controls

  • Provide financial analysis and support for management reporting

  • Participate in system upgrades and automation initiatives

The Successful Applicant

Profile Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a Big 4 firm or multinational corporation

  • Strong knowledge of IFRS

  • Fluent in English (spoken and written); French is a plus

  • Proficient in Excel and ERP systems

  • Detail-oriented, analytical, and able to work in a fast-paced environment

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
