Depending on motivation and performance, an extension may be possible.

Description

The Financial Analyst focuses on ensuring an accurate US GAAP month-/year-end close, driving manufacturing performance reporting & variance analysis, and acting as a business partner to Plant Operations and Switzerland-based EMEA Supply Chain functions. The role also owns P&L/B/S transparency, monthly estimates/forecasts, cash flow reporting, CAPEX support, and continuous process/system improvements as an SAP (CO/CO-PA) power user, while safeguarding SOX/audit compliance.

  • Ensure timely, accurate US GAAP closing in coordination with the accounting shared service.
  • Lead manufacturing performance reporting and variance analysis; recommend corrective actions.
  • Deliver detailed P&L and balance sheet variance analyses (focus on COGS, inventory, intercompany, opex).
  • Prepare the monthly estimate/forecast for the plant and CH-based EMEA Supply Chain; support the annual budget.
  • Produce cash flow reporting and short-term cash estimates.
  • Support CAPEX business cases and investment tracking (capex vs. opex).
  • Serve as SAP CO/CO-PA power user (value flow integrity, incident handling) and drive BI/automation improvements.
  • Ensure robust SOX/internal controls and support internal/external audits.
  • Handle ad-hoc analysis and information requests from senior stakeholders.

Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Business/Finance/Accounting or Swiss Accounting & Controlling qualification.
  • 5+ years in plant controlling / supply chain finance / cost controlling (industrial/FMCG bonus).
  • Strong SAP skills (ideally CO & CO-PA, value flows) and advanced Excel; OneStream is a plus.
  • Process knowledge in B2R and OTC required; P2P advantageous.
  • Proven exposure to US GAAP reporting and SOX/internal controls.
  • Very good English and good German; strong communication and business partnering skills.

Job Offer

  • Excellent opportunity to join a high-performing Finance team with regional scope and senior visibility.
  • Ownership across close, forecasting, variance packs, and process improvements.
  • International environment, modern tools, hybrid setup, 0% travel.
