For our client, we are currently looking for a Financial Controller for a financial company in Geneva.

Primary Responsibilities:

Budgeting and Forecasting: Collaborate with management to establish annual budgets, monitor performance against budgets, and provide detailed analysis of variances.

Financial Reporting: Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management and internal stakeholders, highlighting key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial trends.

Assist with the preparation of information packages for the board of directors and shareholders.

Financial Analysis: Conduct in-depth financial analysis, including profitability analysis, cost analysis, project profitability analysis, and provide recommendations to improve financial performance.

Regulatory Compliance: Ensure the company complies with all regulatory requirements regarding financial reporting, including legal requirements and accounting standards.

Internal Controls: Establish and maintain robust internal procedures and controls to ensure the integrity of financial data and compliance with company policies and procedures.

External Audit Management: Coordinate external financial audits, prepare required documentation, and collaborate with external auditors to ensure effective and smooth audits.

Description du profil

Required Qualifications:

• University degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a financial controller or in a similar role, preferably in the financial services sector.
• Excellent financial analysis, cash management, and financial reporting skills.
• Thorough knowledge of accounting ( CPA or Expertise Comptable is a strong asset)
• Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and meet deadlines.
• Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills.
• Proficiency in English and in French.
