Responsibilities

The aim of the role is acting as a real Finance Business Partner of the Plant manager being a foundation for the business’ decision-making process. You are expected to ensure accuracy of financial statements in line with local accounting standards and to oversee all financial planning and analysis and forecasting performances.

  • Collaborating with managers to develop budgets for the business, and monitoring actual performance versus budget and report variances to management
  • Standard costing
  • Performing accurate and timely period closing process
  • Process invoicing, payments and payroll activities
  • Working closely with departments across the organization, as well as external parties such as vendors, consultants, customers, auditors
  • Developing financial models and cash flow projections
  • Analyzing financial results each month to prepare monthly reports for the management team, Business unit Board and Group Board as well year-end financial statements
  • Driving standardization and digitalization within factory accounting, reconciliation, master data management, reporting to management

Profile

  • Education in financial and/or economics field
  • Finance and/or accounting background
  • Knowledge of Swiss GAAP and IFRS principles
  • Fluent in Italian and English is a must
  • German as an advantage
  • High level IT skills (excel, SAP)
  • Able to communicate to all levels
  • Open minded person with a continuous Improvement mindset
  • Project Management skills
  • Positive, trustworthy and not afraid to take responsibility
  • Willing to learn and develop yourself on the job
