Description

On behalf of our client, a prestigious international organization, we are looking for a Graphic Designer / Digital Print Operator

Responsibilities

  • Design and adapt publications in multiple languages (French, Spanish, Russian, Arabic and Chinese) based on the original English version ; update InDesign files following proofreading and prepare the final print files for digital output
  • Manage incoming printing requests, verify and clarify specifications, prioritize tasks to meet deadlines and produce final print proofs.
  • Configure printing equipment according to job requirements, carry out production runs, and verify quality, finishing and compliance with production standards.
  • Monitor and maintain printing equipment to ensure outputs meet specifications, including adjustments to ink distribution, paper size and related settings.
  • Execute binding and finishing operations as requested, such as folding, cutting, spiral and coil binding, perforating, stitching, laminating and square binding.
  • Perform routine maintenance and report technical issues, troubleshoot stoppages to reduce downtime, escalate persistent malfunctions for repair, remain informed on new maintenance and operational techniques.
  • Maintain accurate records and inventory levels for all printing jobs and distributed branded materials.
  • Track and manage stock of printing supplies (paper, ink, etc.) to ensure uninterrupted production.
  • Carry out other related tasks as required.

Profile

  • Completed secondary education, ideally with a technical qualification in printing or digital print production.
  • At least three years of professional experience in printing and operating finishing machines.
  • Proven ability to run and maintain digital printing and graphic design equipment.
  • Knowledge of prepress systems and familiarity with graphic design software (e.g. InDesign, Photoshop).
  • Excellent knowledge of English or French, with good working knowledge of the other. Additional languages are an asset.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
  • Problem-solving mindset and high level of client orientation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to work effectively in a multicultural environment with respect for diversity.
  • Team spirit, adaptability, integrity and capacity to deliver results while embracing change.

Benefits

Contract duration : 1 month, starting on October 13 (with possible renewal for an additional month).

Global hourly wage : CHF 32.38 (including base salary, vacation, 13th month and public holidays)
