CONTEXT
As part of a replacement, we are looking forward to receiving your application for this role within our Group Accounting department in Bellevue.
Group Accounting has global responsibility for preparation of monthly consolidated financial information for Group and Maisons. The department is also in charge of consolidated financial statements and other externally published information, and of ensuring the correct application of Group policies and procedures.
How will you make an impact?
Reporting to the Group Technical Accounting Manager, this role will be responsible for the following areas (including but not limited to):
Participation in monthly consolidation process
- Perform monthly reviews of financial data received from local reporting entities
- Prepare group external reporting (annual and interim consolidated financial statements, trading statements and analysts- presentations)
- Act as responsible for specific central processes, which can include tax reporting, pension reporting, impairment testing, etc.
Involvement in compensation-related reporting
- Collect and prepare data for the annual Compensation Report
- Act as responsible for certain central compensation-related processes, which can include IFRS 2, pension reporting
- Support the secretary of the Compensation Committee
- Support for non-financial reporting processes, including data collection
On-going assistance to reporting entity level users in relation to Group reporting rules and systems
- Prepare, review and update Richemont accounting policies
- Support local entities in the application of group policies and procedures
- Ad hoc projects, including -task force- mindset for entities requiring special assistance
HOW WILL YOU EXPERIENCE SUCCESS WITH US?
Education, experience and core competencies
- University degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or associated fields, completed with a recognized accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent)
- 3 to 5 years of professional experience, ideally gained in multinational, structured and complex organizations and backed with a previous auditing experience
- Fluency in spoken and written English (French is a plus)
- Applied knowledge of IFRS is a must
- Solid background in finance/management and reporting/controlling
- Excellent literacy of basic IT tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Familiarity with SAP is a plus

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Sense of diplomacy and confidentiality
- Ability to manage pressure and tight deadlines, adapt to unforeseen circumstances, and recalibrate priorities as needed
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
You also are flexible for ad hoc travel requirement (new subsidiaries integration, in-place assistance to local teams) and can be available during monthly closing periods.
