About Our Client

Our client is a start-up company specialized in Neurotechnology that needs to build strong processes.

Job Description

• Manage all aspects of the accounting department, including but not limited to financial reporting, general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and tax compliance
• Ensure that all financial reporting deadlines are met in a timely and accurate manner
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (Swiss & US GAAP & IFRS)
• Coordinate audits by external auditors and provide necessary information and support
• Serve as a business partner to other departments within the organization, providing financial analysis and decision-support as needed
• Stay abreast of changes in GAAP and tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance
• Manage special projects as assigned by senior management
• Need to perform other accounting activities such as journal entries posting, payroll entries and reconciliations

The Successful Applicant

A successful Head Accountant (100%) should have:

• Bachelor/Master degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office tools
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
• Good understanding of financial regulations and reporting standards
• Fluency in English; French minimum B2, additional languages are a plus
• The ability to work independently, resilient
