A highly successful Swiss based asset management company is looking for their new Head of Administration and Compliance to streamline its administrative department and to allow future growth of the organisation.

Head of Administration and Compliance (m/w)

Our client is a fast growing and sustainable Asset Management company reinforcing its support functions.


15% Finance/Accounting

  • Ultimate responsibility for accounts keeping and reporting (balance sheet, profit and loss account, notes to the accounts, key financial indicators) and their timely preparation and presentation;
  • Ultimate responsibility for the budget process, preparation, submission and regular reporting;
  • Respect of and compliance to all financial standards (IFRS, Swiss GAAP,…)
  • Ultimate responsibility for all tax related matters;

15% Audit

  • Ultimate responsibility for internal and external audit;
  • Coordination with auditors, preparation of meetings and related documentation, follow-up on audit points;
  • Ambition for reaching the highest possible audit standards throughout the firm;

25% Compliance and Legal

  • Ultimate responsibility as acting Compliance Officer of the company
  • Ultimate responsibility for the creation, maintenance and up-date of compliance procedures;
  • Communication of compliance matters to the firm and appropriate checking of the respect of compliance;
  • Act as data protection officer
  • Ultimate responsibility of all legal matters, including corporate and documentation aspects, investments and contractual affairs, KYC/AML and disclosure matters;

25% Human Resources

  • Prime responsibility for all process related matters concerning Human Resources;
    • Maintenance of HR procedures and policy
    • Hiring/leaving process administration, including documentation and work certificates
    • Assisting managers in their objectives formulation and career planning for each staff
    • Preparation of staff assessment and company score evaluation
    • HR manager functions
    • Monthly preparation of salary files and transmission to service providers
    • Presentation to RemCo of HR matters and remuneration ranges
    • Proposal and organization of individual and group training courses

10% General Building Services

  • Ultimate responsibility for all matters concerning the building: maintenance, stationary, reception, relationship with the landlords and owners, planning on improvements with architects, furniture, power, etc.

10% Management

  • Primary responsibility for managing the heads of accounting and legal services as well as building related staff.
  • Contribute in a proactive and constructive way to manage the allocated domains under his/her full responsibility



  • Academic background/relevant job experience in Finance and/or Law and/or HR
  • Professional equivalent experience of at least 10 years
  • Fluent in English and French - both written and spoken
  • Open and constructive mind set - positive attitude - proactive problem solving skills;
  • Capable of working in teams as well as self-managed
