MAIN PURPOSE
The is a critical role supporting the Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) in driving strategic initiatives, streamlining projects, monitoring commercial data and related performance, and ensuring the effective execution of commercial objectives.
This individual will act as a central point of coordination, working closely with various teams to facilitate communication, track progress, and resolve roadblocks.
The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a proactive approach, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Distribution (40%)
- Lead the overall distribution network, setting the vision, strategy, and roadmap for optimal market coverage and efficiency.
- Oversee and manage the distribution budget, including CAPEX, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and financial targets.
- Continuously evaluate and optimize the distribution network to enhance performance, reach new markets, and improve customer experience.
Performance Analysis & Reporting (40%)
- Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the progress of commercial initiatives.
- Analyze data to identify trends, insights, and areas for improvement.
- Prepare regular reports and presentations for the CCO and senior management, highlighting key performance metrics and strategic recommendations.
- Support the CCO in preparing for meetings, presentations, and other key events.
Project Coordination & Streamlining (20%)
- Work closely with the CCO to define project scopes, objectives, and timelines.
- Conduct research and analysis to support the development of new commercial strategies and initiatives
- Monitor project progress, identify potential risks and delays, and proactively implement solutions.
- Facilitate communication and collaboration between cross-functional teams (e.g., Marketing, Sales, Retail Operations, Finance) to ensure alignment and efficient execution.
- Develop and maintain project plans, track key milestones, and provide regular updates to the CCO and relevant stakeholders.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and workflows to enhance efficiency and productivity.
- Assist in the implementation of strategic initiatives, working closely with cross-functional teams.
- Monitor the competitive landscape and identify emerging trends and opportunities.
PROFILE
- Degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in distribution management, project management, operations, or business analysis role, preferably within the luxury goods or retail industry.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Experience with project management software and CRM systems is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion.
- Understanding of commercial operations and sales processes.
- Experience in retail/luxury management is a plus.
- Analytical, loves exploring vast amount of data, breaking down complex problems into their core components and providing actionable insights.
- Effective team player, agile and flexible.
- Fluent in English and French.
