PROFILE :
Bachelor's or Master's degree.
Previous experience in a similar role, such as Sporting Director / Sporting Manager, Race Strategist, or Race Director.
Good knowledge of the F1 Sporting Regulations required, with knowledge of the F2 and F3 Sporting Regulations an advantage.
Good knowledge of the FIA International Sporting Code (ISC), with understanding and experience of sport governance best practice an advantage.
Knowledge and understanding of race strategy and sporting simulation tools, including both deterministic and stochastic analysis.
Good knowledge of race weekend operations, with a specific emphasis on F1, and a broader knowledge of other categories an advantage.
Good knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office and real-time collaboration tools (e.g., MS Teams). Knowledge of SBG timing and analysis software is an advantage.
English (Highly proficient or native, spoken and written). Additional languages a positive.
Excellent communication skills (written & verbal), detail-oriented, and a high level of integrity.
A collaborative team player who thrives in an international environment, while demonstrating autonomy, adaptability, and resilience.

This role entails significant weekend work, as the candidate is expected to attend the ROC in Geneva for the majority of races during the 2026 F1 season. In addition to attendance at the ROC, the role will require periodic travel to race event locations.

As the Head of the Remote Operations Centre (ROC) & Future Regulations, you will have the unique opportunity to step behind the scenes of Formula 1, Formula 2, and Formula 3. You will lead the FIA's remote operations during live race events and gain privileged insight into shaping the sporting regulations that will define the future of the sport.

You will be at the centre of the action, contributing directly to safeguarding the integrity and fairness of single-seater racing at the highest level. You will report to the Single Seater Sporting Director.

MISSIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

REMOTE OPERATIONS CENTRE (ROC):
Real-time support of FIA Formula 1, Formula 2 and Formula 3 track side activities, including but not limited to, race direction and stewarding.
Serve as the primary point of communication between track side and remote operations for task allocation and workload management during events.
Development of ROC processes, procedures, systems, and infrastructure, working closely with internal stakeholders to expand support functions.
Personnel planning and logistics organisation for the ROC facility.
Support with management of supply and service contracts for the ROC facility.
Fault reporting on ROC Systems, working with stakeholders and suppliers to ensure timely resolution.
Liaison with other FIA sporting departments on the future evolution and deployment of the ROC facility for additional championships.

FIA FORMULA 1 SPORTING REGULATIONS:
Development and deployment of sporting simulation tools for the purpose of evaluating and evolving future regulation concepts.
Preparation of concept proposals and amendments to the FIA Formula 1 Sporting Regulations for evaluation by the relevant governance meetings, including Sporting Advisory Committee (SAC), F1 Commission (F1C) and World Motor Sport Council (WMSC).

TERTIARY DUTIES:
Contribute to the design and content of annual Stewarding Seminars and training events.
Attend and actively participate in the annual Stewarding Seminars.
Support the delivery of Stewards' training activities in collaboration with FIA development targets.
