HR Generalist

Your Tasks

  • Employee File Management: Create, maintain, and update employee records, including personal information, employment contracts, amendments, and work certificates, in full compliance with data protection standards.
  • Onboarding and Offboarding: Independently manage the onboarding process for new hires, including preparation of employment documents, work permit requests, entry of new employees in OneHR, and ensuring smooth integration. Draft the Manager Journey Plan (integration plan). Oversee offboarding processes, including document handling and coordination of exit formalities.
  • Payroll Administration: Accurately manage payroll-related variables across different business units, including tracking attendance, leave requests (vacation, unpaid leave, remote work), and final settlements. Ensure proper follow-up on monthly and annual reports related to AVS, LPP, daily sickness benefits, accident insurance, and APG. Handle the cross-border home office declarations to the Swiss and French authorities (FER-CIAM/URSSAF).
  • Withholding Tax Management: Calculate the applicable withholding tax and communicate the necessary information to the accounting team for timely processing.
  • Employee Relations: Assist, advise, and support employees with their administrative requests via OneHR, email, and other communication channels.
  • Administrative Support: Carry out general HR administrative tasks. Prepare HR reports based on operational needs. Act as back-up for other HR Generalists when necessary. Provide administrative support to HR BP.
  • Federal Statistics Reporting: Compile and submit monthly, quarterly, and annual statistical reports to the federal authorities in accordance with Swiss requirements.

Your Profile

  • HR Generalist education or equivalent
  • Extensive experience in HR administration, with at least 5 years in a similar role
  • Fluent in French, English and German; additional languages are an advantage
  • At ease with HR digital tools (Oracle, Microsoft 365)
  • Strong analytical skills with the capacity to interpret HR data and propose actionable recommendations
  • Demonstrated ability to support and align with business objectives
  • Experience in a multinational environment is an asset
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels
  • Solution-oriented, mentally agile, and highly motivated
  • Strong social competence, service-oriented mindset, and a positive, proactive approach to work
  • High degree of flexibility and adaptability
  • Discreet, trustworthy, and loyal personality
