International Logistics Solutions Manager 100%

As International Logistics Solutions Manager, you will take full responsibility for defining and executing SCHURTER's global logistics strategy. This includes end-to-end management of our international distribution hubs and continuous optimization of transportation and packaging processes. You will drive cross-functional initiatives that increase speed, reduce cost, and improve service levels across our global network - with measurable impact on business performance.

Strategic Logistics Management

• Design and implement logistics strategies to improve delivery performance, reduce total cost, and support business growth.
• Define and drive a global logistics roadmap aligned with operational and commercial targets.

Distribution Hub Oversight

• Manage SCHURTER's international distributor hubs, ensuring high availability, lean operations, and robust performance tracking.
• Optimize hub structures and lead projects to streamline warehousing and outbound flows.

Transportation Strategy & Supplier Management

• Optimize global transportation routes and mode selection (air, sea, road) to balance cost, speed, and reliability.
• Lead supplier evaluations, contract negotiations, and performance management of transport and logistics service providers (3PLs).

Packaging Efficiency & Cost Control

• Standardize packaging concepts and shipping units to reduce cost and complexity.
• Drive packaging optimization initiatives in close alignment with plants, procurement, and sales regions.

Performance Management & Reporting

• Monitor logistics KPIs and cost development; identify deviations and lead corrective actions.
• Create and manage dashboards, reports, and forecasting models to support data-driven decision-making.

Cross-Functional Execution

• Coordinate cross-regional logistics initiatives involving Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Procurement, Sales, and IT.
• Act as key interface for logistics-related topics in global transformation and operational readiness programs.

• Master's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in international logistics or distribution management.
• Proven success in managing distributor hubs and transport networks across multiple regions.
• Strong negotiation skills and execution focus with a hands-on approach.
• Advanced data analysis and reporting capabilities (Excel, Power BI, or similar).
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence across all organizational levels.
• Fluent in English (German is an advantage).
• Location: SCHURTER Global Headquarters (Lucerne, Switzerland or flexible within Europe)
