About Our Client

NGO based in Geneva.

Job Description

  • Work closely with a senior contracting and business development specialist in the team, as well as the director of operations, a contracts officer and an administrator
  • Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of commercial contracts (partnership agreements, suppliers agreements etc.)

  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, donor requirements, and applicable legal frameworks

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders across programs, finance, procurement, and legal to align contractual terms with operational needs

  • Participate in training sessions that are regularly provided to the business units to improve contracting practices
  • Maintain and organise contract records and templates

  • Provide practical legal and contractual advice to project teams under supervision

The Successful Applicant

  • Master's degree in Law

  • 3-5 years of professional experience in contract management

  • Experience in commercial-level contract development in an international environment is an important consideration

  • Solid understanding of contract law and drafting principles

  • Basic understanding of licensing; knowledge of intellectual property (IP) is a strong plus

  • Excellent organisational skills and strong attention to detail

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

  • Fluency in English (spoken and written); other languages are a plus
