Legal Counsel, pharma/medical devices - 100% FR/ENG (m/f/d)

Job Description

• Engage in the drafting, evaluation, and negotiation of a broad spectrum of agreements (e.g., distribution and licensing agreements, manufacturing agreements, IT agreements, R&D-related agreements).
• Manage the drafting, review, and upkeep of various legal and corporate documents (e.g., PoAs, Resolutions, Meeting Minutes).
• Foster collaboration with external legal advisors and counsels as required.
• Aid in the management of trademark and patent portfolios.
• Contribute to the development, enhancement, and implementation of compliance programs, policies, and protocols.
• Support internal audits and/or investigations to ensure the effective implementation of policies and prevent compliance issues.
• Offer guidance and counsel to business and operations to ensure legal support for day-to-day activities.
• Conduct training sessions for staff on legal and compliance matters.

The Successful Applicant

• Previous experience in a similar capacity, with a preference for experience in the Medical Devices and/or pharmaceutical industry.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic international setting.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently while also being a committed team player.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills for effective stakeholder engagement.
• Proficiency in both English and French.
• Strong ethical principles.
• Proficiency in common computer programs, including MS Office.
