Job Description
- Advise and support on all employment law and HR-related matters to ensure compliance with regulations and policies.
- Review and draft employment/HR, policies, rules and procedures and other legal documents.
- Provide guidance on labor law and employment regulations in the region.
- Support HR teams with employee relations and conflict resolution strategies.
- Analyze and interpret legal risks and provide solutions to mitigate them.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align legal and HR practices with organizational goals.
- Review emplyoment-related grievances, requests for resolutions and other internal appeals and cases in front of UN jurisdictions.
The Successful Applicant
- A degree in law.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience, in an international organization or legal department of a private or public organization.
- Proficiency in English; knowledge of additional languages is an advantage.
- Strong understanding of labor laws and HR policies under the ILOAT jurisdiction.
- Proven ability to provide legal and HR guidance effectively.
- Experience in drafting and reviewing contracts and policies.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
