Description

The Manager, IT Network Security & Resilience is responsible for providing technical, tactical leadership and accountability for cybersecurity-related initiatives, digital modernization and disaster recovery related exercises for the sites represented. The Manager, IT Network Security & Resilience will work to protect our operations through ownership of regional cybersecurity oversight which includes locations in Boudry, Munich and Zofingen.

REQUIRED COMPETENCIES:

- Requires strong written and verbal skills
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Ability to deal appropriately with regulatory agencies
- Good knowledge of cGMP, OSHA, USP and EP
- Able to multi-task
- Requires critical reasoning and decision-making skills
- Exercise sound judgment in making decisions and recommendations within generally defined practices and policies and notify senior management when necessary

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Drive all cybersecurity-related activities for the sites represented; a combination of coordination and hands on.
- Collaborate with partners and customers, such as Manufacturing, Engineering, Facilities, Warehouse and Quality to get alignment and endorsement on cybersecurity-related initiatives.
- Report on digital modernization initiative for the sites represented.
- Owns recovery verification activities for the sites represented including Onsite Application Recovery (OAR) exercises.
- Ensure site level IT assets inventory data quality.
- Assist the Enterprise Cybersecurity Team in site risk assessments to evaluate new and existing threats or vulnerabilities at sites represented.
- Provide status reports on site resilience related deliverables.
- Maintain network architecture blueprint for sites represented.
- Participate in roundtables and/or whiteboard exercises with other Digital - Manufacturing Resilience Leads to discuss strategy definitions, status updates, ideas for improvements and other cybersecurity-related topics.
Understand and promote site compliance with latest enterprise cybersecurity policy guidelines, and provide input to site risk assessments.
- Exercise sound judgment in making decisions and recommendations within generally defined practices and policies and notify senior management when necessary.
- Collaborate with site leadership, vendors, and site IT staff on execution of patch management and risk remediation plans.
Responsible for the matrix leadership of the Software Maintenance Leads for the sites represented.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

- Min Bachelor’s degree of Information Technology,
- Strong attention to safety a must
- Track record of success in managing technical projects in a matrix environment
- Excellent project management and business relationship skills
- Excellent documentation and technical writing skills
- Familiarity of regulatory issues pertaining to digital assets (Data Integrity, 21CFR Part 11 Compliance)
- Demonstrated creative problem-solving skills
- Good technical problem-solving abilities, written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of cybersecurity concepts
- Knowledge of Windows operating system and domains, and patching strategies
- Ability to work in a diverse work environment, manage multiple priorities, and at times, be self‑directed
- Ability to respond to cybersecurity related incidents
- Ability to coordinate cybersecurity related activities across all sites represented
Knowledge of IT networks and networks security
- Typically manages a complete function or process, either in collaboration with business teams or individual efforts.
- Receives assignments in the form of objectives and establishes goals to meet objectives.
- Work is measured based on meeting established objectives and schedules.
Identifies and resolves any discrepancies from normal practices or procedures to cross‑functional team, recommending and implementing corrective actions.
