YOUR ROLE
We are seeking a Manufacturing Controller who is a key member of the Finance team, responsible for providing financial planning, analysis, and control for the Maison-s manufacturing operations. Reporting to the Manufacturing Controlling Manager, this role will work closely with the Supply Chain and R&D departments to ensure efficient resource allocation, cost optimization, and accurate financial reporting. The Manufacturing Controller will play a critical role in supporting strategic decision-making and driving continuous improvement within the Maison.
PLAYING YOUR PART
- Production Planning & S&OP: You will collaborate with various teams to optimize production, monitor budgets, analyze variances, and track KPIs across the supply chain
- Inventory Management: You will monitor inventory levels, implement optimization strategies, ensure accurate valuation, and oversee stock counts
- Development Project Financials: You will analyze financial performance of innovation projects, track budgets, and support R&D financial processes
- Unique Timepiece Oversight: You will manage financial aspects of unique timepiece production
- Production Cost Management: You will optimize production cost calculations, develop cost models, and identify cost reduction opportunities
- Ad-hoc Analysis: You will provide qualitative analysis to support Operations Teams
WHAT WILL MAKE YOU SUCCESSFUL?
Success in this role will require
- A Financial Bachelor's / Master's degree or Engineering course
- 5-7 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, Watchmaking industry knowledge is a plus
- Fluency in French and English
- Data analytics knowledge
- Ability to translate physical operations and processes into meaningful financial figures
- Solid Accounting Principles including cost accounting, inventory valuation, and financial reporting
- Supply Chain Knowledge, including procurement, production planning, inventory management, and logistics
