Benefits in Visp: https://bit.ly/3wjkoFi What you will do: Perform manufacturing activities in the Downstream Processing area according to cGMP guidelines Ensuring batch execution, evaluating test results, resolving issues, troubleshooting manufacturing equipment and make recommendations for resolution. Follow strict guidelines of SHE (Safety, Health, environment), EM (Environmental Monitoring), operation and cleaning within the production area Advise on continuous process improvement projects withing the production area Advise on document preparation (e.g. electronic batch records, SOPs) specific to the assigned production area Act as a technical reference for other member of the shift team on the production area Responsible for the continuous training of the manufacturing staff on specific equipment or standard operations What we are looking for: Completed chemical / biopharmaceutical education or corresponding training qualification, Bachelor / Master's degree or equivalent experience in Biotechnology, Biology, Biochemical Engineering or related fields is an advantage Good knowledge of biotechnological processes in the area of mammalian protein purification (DSP) Strong communication skills, collaborative great teammate, motivated and passionate about finding solutions Fluency in English required, fluency in German is considered a plus Open to work in shift (4-shift system) Very good GMP understanding required At Lonza, our people are our greatest strength.
