FIND’s vision is a world where diagnosis guides the way to health for all people. The FIND team is devoted to driving the development, clinical trialing and implementation of innovative diagnostic solutions that can have a high impact on patient care and disease control in low-resource settings. The diseases we work on include tuberculosis, malaria/fever and neglected tropical diseases, as well as AMR and hepatitis C.

The Market Analyst will build and maintain FIND's knowledge base to inform product development and market shaping activities, influencing where and how the organization invests. The position will report to the Chief Access Officer, with regular opportunities to work across FIND’s product development and country programs. 


FIND is seeking a highly motivated and dynamic individual with proven analytical and communication skills. Candidates should be able to function independently, and be comfortable working in a fast-paced and demanding environment where their input will help drive decision-making.

Market Analyst 

Position’s Main Tasks:

This position, with input from senior management, is responsible for establishment and maintenance of market data across FIND’s areas of work. The expectations for this position are to guide FIND’s market understanding in disease and program areas, highlighting opportunities for investment and intervention. With prioritization based on current program needs, in time the Market Analyst will come to influence decisions across the full breadth of the organization. 


 Specific activities will include but not be limited to:

  • Create systems, frameworks, and processes to gather, analyze, and communicate market data for internal and external audiences. 
  • Use market analysis to recommend product development, programmatic, and/or market-oriented interventions 
  • Establish strategic partnerships with Ministries of Health, international agencies, NGOs, and academic groups that have or could have complementary efforts
  • Draft documents for journals and relevant publications, and deliver presentations to national programs, international fora and key stakeholders
  • Support new opportunities and resource mobilization 

 Professional & Education Background:

  • An advanced degree in business (MBA) or relevant field and at least 3 years business experience working for leading private companies especially in the biotechnology, consulting, and/or investment banking fields
  • Proven analytical and quantitative modeling skills, especially with large datasets
  • Experience producing high-quality written and presentation-based briefs, proposals, and reports 
  • Proven ability to work independently and creatively to plan and execute programming and to develop relationships with a far ranging set of stakeholders 
  • Ability to learn on the job and quickly become proficient in a number of areas
  • Detail-oriented with strong documentation and organization skills
  • Proven technical proficiency with MS Excel, Powerpoint, and Word
  • Available for at least 25% travel
  • Written and spoken English fluency


  • Experience working/living in the settings where FIND operates
  • Existing network of relevant contacts 
  • Fluency in additional languages
