.NET Software Engineer

The cutting-edge technology is a unique, proprietary software, designed to be efficient and effortless which provides a high level of automation. You will work in close collaboration with the CTO and actively participate in an agile development team.

Your main responsibilities

• Maintain, support, and further develop existing .NET desktop applications in combination with SQL Server
• Develop new software solutions using modern technologies (e.g., web applications, containerization, cloud services)
• Create, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines for automating build, test, and deployment processes
• Analyze, evaluate, and implement business and technical requirements in close collaboration with stakeholders
• Help shape and further develop the software architecture, including the selection of suitable technologies and tools
• Conduct code reviews, ensure software quality, and optimize application performance
• Create and maintain technical documentation
• Support error analysis and troubleshooting in 2nd- and 3rd-level support
• Evaluate and integrate new technologies to continuously improve development processes

We are looking for a pragmatic and solution-oriented personality with a sound education and a proven track record and proficient in object-oriented programming and software design pattern.

Your profile

• Experience in development with .NET Framework and .NET 5 or higher
• Solid knowledge of SQL Server, including database design, queries, and performance tuning
• Experience with version control systems, especially Git
• Knowledge in IT security and data protection in the context of software development
• Strong communication skills in English, German is an advantage
• Used to work independent, structured, and solution-oriented
