Packaging Engineer

We are currently looking for a Packaging Engineer to join an international industrial company based in Münchwilen, Aargau.

Packaging Engineer

As a key member of the Packaging team, you will:

• Manage and maintain Packaging Master Data (SAP MDM), ensuring data accuracy and consistency.
• Take ownership of the Packaging Portfolio and coordinate multiple packaging-related projects.
• Act as the internal point of contact for Packaging & Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR) topics, supporting colleagues and promoting best practices.
• Drive packaging sustainability initiatives while ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate with R&D, Production, Supply Chain and external suppliers.
• Support the development and continuous improvement of packaging solutions.
• Assist laboratory teams with packaging qualification and mechanical testing activities when required.

We are looking for someone with:

• 3–5 years of experience in Packaging Engineering.
• Strong experience with SAP Master Data Management (MDM) (essential).
• A background in Packaging Engineering within an industrial environment.
• Solid Project Management skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders and priorities.
• Experience working with packaging specifications, suppliers and cross-functional teams.
• A proactive and structured mindset with excellent communication skills.

• Degree in Packaging Engineering or equivalent.
• Fluent English (mandatory).
• German is considered a strong advantage.
• Available to start ASAP.
